Question to the readers...All 5 of you

Ok, so I don't think I've ever made any claim to be moral, per se. But I have a question for you guys. So, apparently, blogger has this ad sense thing where you can allow them to post those google related ads (like that pop up on your gmail) and then they pay you. I imagine it's next to nothing, but hey next to nothing is better than nothing. Is it really loserish to sign up for it? I mean, I like money. But, something really sits funny with me about allowing content I don't approve to pop up based on key words in our posts. What if Slunch ends up inadvertently advertising for Emily's book? Oh, the horrors. Thoughts?

We're not book reviewers...

OMG, guess what! We've started getting query letters about reviews. I guess we've finally arrived. Here's the deal, guys. We're in the industry, too. We're not reviewers. We don't have time to be reading your books and reviewing them to get you publicity. I mean, if we were going to do that, we'd just review the books we are each working on. That said, if you have TIPS of anykind, please send them to us. Or, if you think there's some funny story about a book you're working on or an event that you think we should know about. In addition, if you're interested in writing for Slunch, submit something. Less work for us, and really, we're all about that. But, we don't accept books. Sorry, kids.

Introducing...Literary Event of the Week!

In an effort to stop the Slunchies from slacking constantly, I, the Editor, have decided to up the ante. That's right, Slunchfans. Instead of a literary event on the month, we'll have one each week! Then, at the end of the month, we'll pick our fave, which will earn...the title of literary event of the month. This will start in May because, frankly, I don't have the energy to pick one for next week and force someone to attend.
